The invites were sent out a while ago, some by e-mail, some by post, some by hand. Over the last few years you may have noticed that I use a picture of a flower – usually one taken in our garden – for the invitations.It might be a slightly quieter affair this year as quite a few of our friends are on holiday. On the other hand it could well be noisier as there might be more singing and playing as it can be easier to arrange when there’s fewer people.
Jeff as usual has been an absolute gem – through his efforts the garden looks lovely, he’s done most of the shopping, and will do the rest tomorrow.
He made a very pertinent comment this morning when he said putting on a BBQ makes us pay more attention to the house & garden – just a shame about the rest of the year!
